Tucked into the gum-studded hills of Yallingup, the Woodbridge home is a study in warm, characterful coastal living – a custom build where a bold material palette meets the quiet of the South West bush.

From the approach, the home reads as a series of clean, angled forms in soft, light cladding, its skillion rooflines echoing the fall of the surrounding landscape. Beds of local laterite stone and established gums anchor it firmly to its setting, while a timber pergola softens the transition from inside to out.

Step through the door and the palette comes alive. Handmade-look green tiles run across the kitchen splashback, paired with sage-green fluted joinery and terrazzo benchtops flecked with green, terracotta and charcoal. Warm timber cabinetry and brushed brass tapware bring depth and a tactile, lived-in richness, while raked ceilings and globe pendant lighting keep the spaces feeling open and full of natural light.

The kitchen sits at the heart of the home, its curved fluted island and integrated timber dining bench designed for gathering. Full-height glazing and corner windows draw the bushland in, blurring the line between the living areas and the landscape beyond – a hallmark of the way an Indianic home is designed to live with its surroundings, not just sit within them.

That same considered approach carries through to the bathrooms, where vertical green and terracotta tiles, terrazzo-topped vanities, curved timber cabinetry and brass fixtures give each space its own distinct personality without losing the thread that ties the whole home together. Even the smaller moments – the built-in timber mudroom, the copper outdoor shower, the sculptural wall lighting – are resolved with the same care.

Woodbridge is a reflection of what Indianic Homes does best: custom, coastal-inspired homes built for the South West WA lifestyle, balancing luxurious practicality with indulgent beauty. It’s a home with genuine character – one that feels rooted in Yallingup, and made to be lived in for years to come.
